Sacred stone bracelet, Tiger Looking Back, two-metal finish

Sacred objects are treasures we honour with intention. Caring for them properly not only keeps each piece beautiful and lasting — according to belief, it is also an act of respect that keeps their blessings with us always.

Cleaning

For coins and plated metalwork, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid metal polish and chemical cleaners, as they damage the plating and enamel. Sacred stone bracelets should be wiped with a dry cloth or one lightly dampened with clean water, then dried at once. Remove them before bathing, swimming or exercise that brings on heavy sweat.

Storage

Store each piece separately in a cloth-lined box or fabric pouch so they do not rub against one another. Keep them in a suitably elevated place, never mixed in with everyday items or left somewhere damp. According to belief, sacred objects should not be placed in the bathroom or at the foot of the bed.

When to Bring Them for a Renewal Ceremony

Many devotees bring their sacred objects to the annual Wai Kru ceremony to renew their potency, according to belief. The samnak of Ajarn Noo Ganpai holds a Wai Kru ceremony every year — follow the news via LINE @g123.
