Ajarn Noo Ganpai
Thailand's grandmaster, creator of the world-famous Five-Row Yant (Hah Taew)
Ajarn Noo Ganpai was born in Bang Bua Thong District, Nonthaburi. Drawn from an early age to the mystic arts, incantations, and the sacred script of Yant, he began studying these disciplines on his own as a child.
As a young man he was ordained as a monk, studying the Dhamma alongside sacred incantations and ancient texts, before undertaking pilgrimages to seek knowledge from many renowned master monks until he had mastered both the occult arts and the craft of Sak Yant.
After leaving the monkhood, he founded his Sak Yant studio in Pathum Thani. His work — razor-sharp, exquisite, and charged with sacred power, above all the Five-Row Yant, the Tiger Looking Back Yant, and the Deer Looking Back Yant — earned him renown as "Thailand's Grandmaster", drawing devotees from Thailand and around the world to be tattooed by his hand.
